Terms of Service

What we sell

Document-preparation services: we organize your answers into clean, professional PDF documents. Every document is prepared from customer-provided information only. We do not decide what your document should say, whether it is right for your situation, or whether a court or agency will accept it.

Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.
• Review every document before signing or using it. Make sure the names, dates, and details are correct.
• Follow the signing, witness, notarization, and filing rules for your state. Our documents include general signing guidance, but we strongly recommend having an attorney review any will, trust, deed, or power of attorney before you rely on it.
• One purchase generates one document. Each checkout covers a single document preparation.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars; taxes are $0.00 — digital document preparation is not taxed in our operating states.

Acceptable use

Do not use our intake forms to submit someone else's personal information without their permission, and do not attempt to bypass checkout or generate documents without paying.

Refund Policy

Payments may become non-refundable once document preparation, review, research, customization, or other administrative work has started. If a customer cancels before work begins, Midwest Legal Docs LLC may issue a full or partial refund, less payment-processing fees, third-party charges, or other costs already incurred.

Government, court, registered-agent, postage, shipping, notary, payment-processing, and other third-party fees are non-refundable once paid or incurred. If Midwest Legal Docs makes a clerical or preparation error, we will make reasonable corrections at no additional charge.

Refund requests are reviewed individually. Send the customer name, order number, purchase date, service, and reason to support@midwestlegaldocs.com.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Order information: your name, email address, and the answers you type into our intake forms (needed to prepare your document).
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid and the amount — never your card number.
• Basic site data: standard server logs (pages visited, approximate location from IP) used to keep the site running and to detect abuse.

How we use it

To generate and deliver your document, send order confirmations, respond to support requests, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

Storage & security

Order records are stored securely and kept as long as needed to support your purchase and meet legal record-keeping duties. Documents you generate are delivered through private order links — do not forward those links publicly.

Your choices

Email support@midwestlegaldocs.com to request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it (we must keep payment records required by law).

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for checkout, site security, analytics, and marketing measurement. This includes the Meta/Facebook Pixel, which may send Meta information about visits and actions on this site so we can measure advertising performance and build or improve audiences. Meta may use this information under its own privacy policy. You can limit advertising cookies through your browser settings and Meta ad preferences.
